Mr Gnanalingham made no promises that he would be able to totally resolve my symptoms caused by cervical disc problems. However after thorough examination and discussion I had a cervical discectomy in November 2019. The surgery was performed in the BMI Alexandra hospital. The care I received from Mr Gnanalingham, his anaesthetist, the hospital staff and Vaani, his PA has been extremely good. My troubling symptoms have almost gone and I have been left with a small nest scar. I would absolutely recommend Mr Gnanalingham and his anaesthetist Dr Sebastian

I have been a patient of Mr Gnanalingham for just under two years due to disc prolapse in my back. I have undergone several epidural injections with reducing benefits and Mr Gnanalingham therefore discussed the possibility of a performing a discectomy to hopefully give me a more long lasting result. Mr Gnanalingham was very caring throughout, explained everything clearly and did not pressure me in any way as to whether to have the surgery. I opted to go ahead with the discectomy and had this procedure 5 weeks ago. One of the reasons that made my decision easier was my complete trust in Mr Gnanalingham, in what he was telling me and his ability to perform the operation. I am still in recovery and it is early days yet but so far the operation has given me immense relief and I am hopeful of a good recovery. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Gnanalingham, I dread to think how much pain I would still be in if it wasn’t for his help and understanding. I would also like to mention his PA, Vaani, who has always been very kind, helpful and efficient in arranging my appointments.

Despite of my complex past medical history, I have received thorough investigation prior the operation and had an excellent result . My pituitary tumour was removed without any complications and now I can see much better. The care I received prior, during and aftercare was excellent. Without medical background, the procedure Seemed to very complicated to me, however Mr. Gnanalingham explained the procedure to me in a most simple terms. I am a very satisfied patient and would recommend the surgeon to others without hesitation.

I was referred to Mr G, in 2019. My endocrinologist strongly recommended Mr G as THE only medical professional she would trust to carry out my proposed surgery. The story that followed was quite unexpected. What initially seemed an innocent but troublesome pituitary issue, turned out to be a much more serious, life threatening diagnosis. Without Mr Gs professionalism, care and persistence, I undoubtedly would not have survived. Mr G has a very calm, reassuring demeanour but also doesn’t shy away from total honesty and clarity with his patients. I found him and Vaani to always be available, take the time and still retained a very human approach whilst dealing with me during a particularly frightening time in my life. This stuff is everyday to them.... but it never felt that way to me. I can never thank them enough for what they did for me and my family.

After months of waiting for NHS appointments only to be told that I needed a different scan/appointment, I decided to look at some profiles on the BMI Alexandra’s website. I came across Mr Gnanalingham’s profile and decided to book an appointment based on his experience and reviews ! From the first meeting, he was listened to my health complaint from start to finish and always ensured that I knew what my next steps were. This experience has left me more optimistic that there are options out there to support me and I would highly recommend.
